Wanting to test for INDEPENDENT?  Make sure to get a form from Mrs. Wilson, get it signed and bring it back!
Independent requirements:


Think you might want to be independent?  Here's what you need to be able to do:
1. Ski an intermediate run (usually Claim Jumper) in control with turns (toe and heel side for boarders).
2. Stop at any time (even if it is steep!)
3. Skiers - be able to put all gear back on by yourself on a steep run
4. Be able to accurately answer a variety of safety questions related to skiing/riding in a responsible manner - with an emphasis on taking care of yourself and others
5. Fast and Out of CONTROL does not = an independent skier/rider.  
6. bring in a parent signed "permission to be independent" form - available from Mrs. Wilson
