Speaking of the ministry of the Silly Walk.... 

The Salmons, a San Luis Obisbo family, were inspired by a family in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan that came up with the idea, paying tribute to a famous Monty Python skit featuring John Cleese, "The Ministry of Silly Walks." The Yorkshire Silly Walks Instagram page was created in early April and now has more than 32,000 followers.

At the special board meeting this evening, the Lone Rock School District Board of Trustees voted to continue distance learning for the remainder of the school year.

Those of you who are keeping up on your work have done a great job.  Please continue to work hard,

SOMETIMES DISTANCE LEARNING FEELS LIKE THIS FOR EVERYONE.  THAT IS OK.  THAT IS NORMAL.  TAKE A BREAK AND CLEAR YOUR MIND>  IT CAN MAKE A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE!

Need to ask your teacher a question?

You have several great choices!

1) email!  We all love getting email and check it throughout the day!

2) Google Hangouts - this is like chat - or text - built into email!  Check it out and get started using the  + on the left hand menu.  There is a hangouts app as well that you can use on a tablet or phone.

3) Comments  - group or private - in Classroom - for each assignment AND for the class in general.

Don't hesitate - ASK US!  We are here to help :)

Many have asked about when we are going back to school.  

The Governor has more or less made it up to the local school districts.

Our School Board will be meeting Tuesday night at 7pm in the new gym to discuss what Lone Rock will do.  

There are a lot of issues to consider. 

Stay tuned.  We will make sure everyone knows.

COOL TRACK VID:
This is from an indoor meet, which means the track is 200 meters.  The race is the 800m (so 4 times around!) All but one runner is a college athlete; the other, a high school freshman!  You can guess what happens, but it is so fun to watch!

He has said schools MAY open on May 7th (Thursday).  I believe this would mean classes - IN PERSON - would resume on Monday, May 11th.

We don't know what that might look like but it is a hopeful sign!

Check your email. Check your google classroom every day.

Make copies of google docs, slides, sheets, forms, and collections then submit them with your turned in status on google classroom.
