Girls BASKETBALL is underway!

Be at school between 6:40 - 6:45am

Wanting to test for INDEPENDENT?  Make sure to get a form from Mrs. Wilson, get it signed and bring it back!

Independent requirements:

Think you might want to be independent?  Here's what you need to be able to do:

1. Ski an intermediate run (usually Claim Jumper) in control with turns (toe and heel side for boarders).

2. Stop at any time (even if it is steep!)

3. Skiers - be able to put all gear back on by yourself on a steep run

4. Be able to accurately answer a variety of safety questions related to skiing/riding in a responsible manner - with an emphasis on taking care of yourself and others

5. Fast and Out of CONTROL does not = an independent skier/rider.  

6. bring in a parent signed "permission to be independent" form - available from Mrs. Wilson

Last open meeting: Thursday 3:30 - 4:30

Pre-competition meeting: Monday 3:30 - 4:30

2019 Chapter competition: Tuesday, Feb. 5th ALL DAY

2nd Quarter Awards Assembly: Friday, Feb. 8th at 9am

Monday, Feb. 11: Air Band Contest(6:30pm)
