TODAY is
WINTER SOLSTICE
the SHORTEST DAY OF THE YEAR!

8 hours 35 minutes of daylight
Of course, it is supposed to be overcast, so we won't see much of the sun even during those 8 hours and 35 minutes. However, starting Tuesday, we will get more minutes of daylight each day!!! (sunrise Tuesday: 8:18am!)
