Cinco de Mayo is NOT Mexico's Independence Day. It celebrates the success of a battle of 4,000 men, women and children of Puebla, Mexico, and 6,000 French soldiers. The Mexicans won the battle that day but the French soldiers came back and ultimately beat the Mexican people.
We celebrate this day on a larger scale that the people of Mexico do.

We’re excited to meet our incoming 6th Graders!
Some of us have been in middle school for as many as 18 years that’s how much we love it!
Sixth Graders! You have a field trip to Lake Como on Monday, May 16. Mrs. Stevens has a form that needs to be turned in right away. Please get the form signed by a parent. and bring it back to Mrs. Stevens.
Please start carrying extra coats and clothing from your locker to your home. You won't want to carry all of your stuff home later as the weather gets even warmer.
