The Treaty of Paris ends the French-Indian War

February 10, 1763 (how many years before the U.S. gained Independence from England??): Also known as "The Seven Year's War", was a war fought between the French and English. It began in 1689, over the control of two rivers, Allegheny and the Monongahela, which are located in present day Pennsylvania. The rivers were good routes for trading. 

World chess champion Garry Kasparov loses game to computer February 10, 1996: After a three hour match, Russian world chess champion Garry Kasparov lost the first game of a six-game match to an IBM computer named Deep Blue. Deep Blue could evaluate 200 million moves per second! Kasparov did win the match with 3 wins and 2 ties, taking home $400,000! There was an estimated 6 million people watching worldwide!
